I’m fortunate to have several creative projects in the works right now. However, I’ve also been practicing my ability to write and produce tracks quickly by giving myself exactly 2 hours to create a one-minute piece of music from scratch. No revisions, no do-overs, no second chances. Since it’s also Halloween season as I’m doing this, I’ve decided to refer to all of the music created in this process as 1 Minute Monster Pieces (1MMP – see what I did there? 😈) For this first 1MMP track, I used a short motif and a photo from a space exploration/adventure video game for inspiration, then blended three of my favorite styles into one sound.
