What Child Is This?

I’ve always thought that this Christmas carol would make an excellent goth rock/metal song. This year, I finally got tired of waiting for someone else to do it in the style that I kept hearing it in my head. My good friend VK Lynne, who also performed on my Conflict One Zero single “Rapid Fire,” had mentioned wanting to do a Christmas song for awhile and she was into this idea when I brought it up. VK also came up with ambitious visual concepts to compliment this music, and she recruited Sean McHugh to help us bring her vision to life. COVID-19 made this collaboration extra challenging but we found a way to make it happen without ever being in the same room.
