I’m excited to announce that once again, I’m offering my Logic Pro for Beginners class at Los Angeles City College Extension again this fall! I designed this course for anyone who is just getting started in audio production and/or anyone that has attempted to get started but keeps getting stuck. The main goal is to get each person from wherever they are now with recording to their next level, and there are no restrictions on music style. The class is offered remotely, so even if you don’t live in Los Angeles, you can still take this class!
Weekly projects for this introductory course will help build your skills and nurture your creativity with Apple’s professional digital audio workstation (DAW) Logic Pro. Basic audio production principles will apply to earlier and current versions of Logic. Mobile devices, MIDI controllers, audio interfaces, and/or microphones are helpful but not required, and there are 90-day free trials available from Apple if your budget is an issue. All you need to participate is a desktop version of Logic Pro and a (free) Zoom account. Finally, there’s also a promotion right now through September 13th where you can save $5 on the course by using the promo code HARVEST26 during checkout.
