New song and video – “It Hurts”

Another one of my COVID collaborations is finally complete! I was recruited by my What Child Is This? collaborator VK Lynne to play drums and also do some orchestral arranging for a cover of “It Hurts” by Born and Beth Hart. VK envisioned this song as a symphonic metal opus and already had Timo Somers and Ty Christian from Lords Of The Trident onboard, so how could I say no? We recorded the audio remotely but as lockdowns ended, it was decided that we needed a proper music video to go with this cover song as well, and Nesto Rhea was recruited to direct. “It Hurts” is now available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon and across all digital music distributors.
